You Know What To Do!

We're in the Baltimore airport, getting ready to come home to New Orleans.
We voted early on October 25 in New Orleans, and it was one of the most exhilarating experiences.
There were a thousand people in line: Old people with wheelchairs and walkers; mothers with a baby on their hip; lots of young people voting for the first time; all races, all ages - men and women. Everyone was very upbeat and excited.
We were at City Hall, and the staff did their best to make it pleasant. They brought puzzles to pass the time, and sample ballots for everyone to look at. They brought water. They brought a chair if you needed it.
No one in line complained. Lots of interesting discussions went on. The sense of community was awesome.
So get out there today, if you haven't already done it.
