Who's dog is this?
It's Martha's doggie Sharkey!
Her house looks amazing for Christmas, and she shares "a peek" with 25 photos of it on The Martha Blog.
The photos are of course amazing and homey at the same time. Martha's gift is that whatever she does she leaves you with the feeling that it's possible for you to do some of it too.
She has a new line of ornaments out that she mixes in with her beautiful vintage collection of things. It's wonderful how she spreads Christmas decorations all over her house, and it doesn't look junky.
Do take a look at the photos of her home, and if you have time go to her shadow blog The Daily Wag, and see another couple of dozen photos of the decorations with her pets.
Martha is a true animal lover, and shares all her perfection with the dogs and cats.
Cholo is not very curious about Christmas decorations. I think I move things around so much that the hustle and bustle of Christmas decorating is just another day in his life with a serial decorator ha ha.
Dear Valorie,
ReplyDeleteI might love Martha's pictures and her house pets, but I really love the picture of your lovely Cholo! This is really the nicest pic!!!!

Cholo is the BEST! So cute.
ReplyDeleteMy grand-dog does not seem the least bit interested in the Christmas tree!
xoxo
Your tree is totally awesome and deserves to be featured! So beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteAren't these glorious photos!
ReplyDeleteEdward could not care less about the many trees we haul into the house. He never bothers the packages tucked in every corner. He's not interested in the plates of cookies on the tables. But he adores my big black bedroom slipper and carries it around the back garden every afternoon. And, leaves it there.
My sweet pug is the sweetest Christmas decoration with her adorable face framed within her candy cane striped scarf!
ReplyDeleteOur cherished pets just love to see what is going on around the holidays......the tree is fabulous!!

Our young Beagle girls are still into putting anything and everything into their mouths - testing to see if "it" is:
ReplyDeleteA.) Yummy
B.) Chewable or a good new toy
C.) Smells like mom or dad - double bonus!
D.) Yucky- Sadly, not much is found to be yucky!
My Ruby is still a puppy (7 months), so all she wants to do is CHEW on the decorations. I've caught her a few times chewing on the branches of my artificial tree, which I was none too happy about. We did manage to get her in the family Christmas photo this year, thanks to my persistent daughter. If it weren't for Lily's patience, I don't think that would have happened (and I'm so glad it did!).
ReplyDeletelove your tree, Valorie, and Cholo looks adorable. Merry Christmas! xo
