For Rent

It's coming up to a year since my beloved Alberto passed away. What a year! About six months ago I started to create a separate space in my house for my sister to move into. This won't happen for awhile, so I listed it on Airbnb. Now's your chance to stay in Casa Visual Vamp.

Go to the Airbnb link https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/5026237

The space is filled with art, and books, and my furnishings, and all the decorator touches you will love. It is completely furnished, and of course you can say hello to me.

  1. Best of luck Valorie. I hope this works out. The room is fantastic with a real vibe of the city. Whom ever stays will have the thrill of authenticty. No hotel can provide that!

  3. What a fabulous idea! I have a friend here in Chattanooga that owns multiple properties she uses for vacation rentals and she does quite well. She has all of hers listed in VRBO and they stay pretty booked. Good luck, the place looks fabulous!

  4. Good luck with this new venture Valorie! I hope it works well for you. The house looks great! Just have to put this out there though..... Be careful, having strangers in your home isn't something to take lightly.

  5. I can't believe it's been almost a year since Alberto passed away. It puts a lump in my throat to think about that. And wow-you've done it! The picture is beautiful. I know the house is amazing! If we are ever headed to New Orleans, we'll be calling!

  6. What a wonderful opportunity for someone to stay in such an artistic space. I'm passing on to a friend that I know visits NOLA frequently.

  7. My son had to vacate his house in the I.C. for a week. He paid about the same price as you are asking for a really crummy half of a double found on airbnb.
