Hey You! Come and hang out with Miles Redd! This is Miles taking a ride in a planter being taken up to his rooftop garden by a crane! Amazing! You can ask him about it when you see him in New Orleans on Wednesday! |

Miles is a nice guy, very friendly and forthcoming. He even answered my email when I was painting my bedroom
Miles Redd Green. You can listen to a great interview with him and the ladies of the
Skirted Roundtable. There is a great article on Miles with an interview and some great styling tips in the
Wall Street Journal that I think you will also enjoy.
We all have folders and Pinterest boards stuffed with his images, and
I think it would be great to meet him and thank him for sharing his
talent and inspiring us.

ReplyDeleteOh, I wish I could be there but I'm on the other side of the country. I love these rooms, drenched in color...saturated, sumptuous. Equally said for your bedroom.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I enjoyed reading the article on you in the sidebar, when you were featured in the local NOLA publication about a tango parlor in your shotgun. I've been reading you here for awhile and I enjoy your love of color and quirk. I want to be daring like you with COLOR. (My husband isn't so sure...alas, he is medically color-blind! Green to him looks like babyPoop-brown. Sigh...)
ok, i'm back again....def would love one of your tx...i've been a faithful blurker (blog + lurk = blurk, my own word combo)since i moved to nola 3 years ago cuz i love, love, love your savvy style and use of colors, so i'm a prime candidate for one of your tickets (IMOHO)...hasta later...Kathleen
