Record low Fat Tuesday temperatures today.
Does it make us want to don our costumes and sit on the couch and watch it all on TV? Not really!!!!
We'll hit the streets in the French Quarter around noon, fortified by an adult beverage or two, and joyfully say goodbye to the pleasures of the flesh.
Happy Mardi Gras!
All because it's carnival time ......

ReplyDeleteI just saw your comment about the newspapers...I am so sorry! I wish I had known you. We unfortunately have given all of ours (except for our copy) away! I have seen copies on ebay, but they are being sold for well above value! Ugh.
We would have to dress as Yedi's in thermal long johns. Have a blast for us!

ReplyDeleteI'm having a sofa crisis and really like this one in the picture. Does anyone know where it came from? I currently have an old PB basic which I hate and I'm so tired of buying yet ANOTHER slipcover for it. I have kids, so it can get pretty dingy. Any idea on a source for this one?
